Dear International Students,
The information below is intended to lead you through the application process and help you prepare for an Erasmus stay at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin.
STEP 1. – CHECK THE STUDYING POSSIBILITIES
If you would like to spend a semester or an academic year in Szczecin, Poland and you are considering our University as the place for your Erasmus stay, please make sure that your home university has signed an Erasmus bilateral agreement with us. This information is usually provided by the Erasmus coordinator at your home university (central and/or faculty level). Please check also the areas of study for which the agreement is valid – generally student flows are realised within the areas specified in the agreement. However, if you are interested in courses in a study area not included in the agreement, we will try to do our best to make your stay possible. Before you submit your application, please check the availability of courses taught in English at the hosting faculty. Should you have any doubts or questions, please contact our faculty coordinators.

STEP 2. – APPLICATION FOR A MOBILITY
Once you made sure your stay is possible (there must be an agreement between our institutions) and the course offer is suitable for you, please follow the instructions regarding application. Detailed information about application procedures is available at:
The on-line application deadlines are as follows:
• 31 May – winter semester or full academic year
• 30 November – summer semester
We do not required previous nominations send by your home University.
STEP 3. – CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE
After your application has been processed and the availability of courses confirmed by the host faculty, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your e-mail address indicated in the application form as well as your home Erasmus+ office, unless agreed otherwise (aprox. within 4 weeks after application deadline). Each student is individually informed about acceptance.
STEP 4. – CONFIRMATION OF ACCOMMODATION AND BUDDY DETAILS
At a later date (2 weeks before your arrival at the latest) you will be notified about the address of your dormitory and contact details of your student buddy.
Student buddies are local students registered at the host faculty (if possible) ready to offer you their assistance upon arrival. You can ask them to pick you up from the station, show you around the hosting faculty, university and town, help with necessary formalities etc. They will also answer any questions about studying conditions and student life that may arise before your arrival.
