If you wish to carry out a practical placement (traineeship) at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, it is possible within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme. Each traineeship must be agreed with your home university and approved by a ZUT academic supervisor and faculty coordinator.
Practical placements at ZUT are individually arranged and depend on the capacity of the host faculty.
1. Find an Academic Supervisor
A traineeship at ZUT can take place only if an academic staff member agrees to supervise your work.
You may:
- contact a potential academic tutor directly, presenting your academic background, proposed tasks and interest area (attaching a draft Learning Agreement is recommended), information you can find on our www www.zut.edu.pl/EN/university.html in section Faculties, or
- contact the faculty coordinator, who can guide your inquiry to the appropriate academic unit.
2. Agree on the practical placement details
Together with the supervisor and faculty coordinator, you define:
- programme and tasks of the practical placement,
- expected learning outcomes,
- preliminary dates (minimum duration at ZUT is 3 months within one academic year, including summer).
All details must be recorded in the Learning Agreement for Traineeship (Before Mobility) and accepted by your home university, supervisor from ZUT and faculty coordinator from ZUT.
3. Application process
Once your Learning Agreement has been agreed and signed by student, home university, supervisor from ZUT and faculty coordinator from ZUT, contact: incoming@zut.edu.pl. The International Mobility Office will guide you through the next steps in the process.
All candidates must complete the online application in the IRK system: irk.zut.edu.pl/en-gb/
Create an account / choose Registration / select a "ERASMUS+ (Student mobility)", choose registration "Student mobility for Practical Placement" / click "Sign up".
